The talented Walker Porter made his professional debut in 2025 following much anticipation. Alabaman was one of the brightest stars on the amateur scene in recent years, collecting three national championships while being named the Nicky Hayden AMA Flat Track Horizon Award winner and AMA Athlete of the Year in 2024.
Porter, who competed for the Turner Racing Amateur Team, was slated to make his pro debut with the American Honda factory-backed outfit in ‘25 but was not eligible to do so until turning 16 midway through the year.
Once he did, however, he made up for lost time, scoring a top five in his second-career AFT Singles race. He went on to collect five top tens on the year in just ten outings.
With some additional seasoning and experience, Porter expects to take a big step forward and continue his rapid rise in 2026.
